Join us in welcoming Pamela Aall as a new Senior Associate

Pamela Aall Portrait BFDA05Through her research, training, and leadership, Pamela Aall has made significant contributions to what we know about conflict management, mediation, intractability, and third party interventions in conflict, particularly on the non-official side. Pamela has long experience in the area of practitioner education and training in international conflict management, both in the U.S. and abroad. She comes to Facilitating Peace from the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP), where she was the founding Provost of the Academy for International Conflict Management and Peacebuilding.  Together with Chester Crocker and Fen Osler Hampson, Pamela has co-edited a series of seminal works in the field, including Rewiring Regional Security in a Fragmented WorldLeashing the Dogs of WarGrasping the NettleTaming Intractable ConflictsHerding Cats, and Turbulent Peace.  Pamela will remain at USIP as Senior Advisor for Conflict Prevention and Management while joining Facilitating Peace as a Senior Associate.  We are delighted to have Pamela with us at Facilitating Peace.
